Fleming—Finn Wedding.
This Wednesday morning at 8:30 o’clock at St. Benedict’s Catholic church, Rev. Fr. John Hawe pronounced the words which united tor life, Mr. Lawrence H. Fleming of Plymouth Rock to Miss Patritia Finn, youngest daughter of John Finn. The groom was accompanied by Mr. Ray Fleming of Sioux Falls, S. D., as best man and the bride by Miss Mary Hogan of Chicago as bridesmaid. The newly married couple departed at noon for Sioux Falls, S. D., for a honeymoon visit with relatives.
Both the bride and groom are well known in Decorah and various parts of the county. The bride is a most estimable young lady, possessing those qualities which make for the most in womanhood. The groom is a prosperous farmer of Fremont township, is a gentleman who is universally popular among all his acquaintances. It is a union of two splendid hearts and hands, in which all their friends find every reason for hearty congratulations.
Among the out of town guests at the wedding were Messrs. Chris. Flemming, of Minneapolis, Jack of Chicago, Thos. and William of Mason City, Ed. and son Kay of Sioux Falls, S. D., Mrs. Grace Hogan and daughter, Miss Mary of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wilkins and son Finn and Miss Kit Tierney of New Hampton, Iowa.— Decorah Public Opinion.
