The home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Fifield north of town was last Wednesday the scene of a most pleasant and interesting event, it being the marriage of their daughter Miss Olive to Harry Goldsworthy. The guests, though numerous, were confined to the immediate relatives of the two families. At 12 o’clock, to the sweet strains of a wedding march, the bridal party entered the south parlor where Rev. Thompson pronounced the solemn words that united these two hearts and lives in the relation of husband and wife. The young couple made a handsome appearance and looked happy, and we have no doubt they enter upon this new pathway of life with bright anticipations, all of which the writer earnestly hopes they may realize in full measure. After sincere and hearty congratulations had been offered a bounteous dinner was served and the afternoon hours passed away all too rapidly in social conversation and enjoyment. Mr. Goldsworthy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Goldsworthy of Fremont township. He is an industrious and upright young man, respected by all his friends. Miss Fifield is a young lady who is loved by all her acquaintances. This worthy couple were fittingly remembered in the way of wedding gifts. They will make their future home on the Chas. Yates farm north of town.
