Wednesday evening, Oct 28, about two hundred invited guests assembled at the M. E, church to witness the marriage of Miss Ruth Barnes, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Barnes, to David Easler, both of this place. At 8 o’clock, to the strains of the wedding march rendered by Mrs. Harrison Culbert, the bride and groom entered the church accompanied by Allyn Daskam and Mrs. Fred Goddard, taking their place at the altar where Rev. Gammons pronounced the words which made them one. Immediately alter the ceremony the guests were invited to the Grange Hall where, after congratulating the happy couple, they were seated at the table and a bounteous supper served. The presents were numerous and costly, showing the regard in which these young people are held. The young couple will soon commence housekeeping in the Geo. Daskam residence, in town.
