Double Wedding at the Fort.
At Fort Atkinson last Wednesday morning at the home of the bride’s parents, Prof. Harvey L. Curtis and Miss Anna Puffer, and Mr. Arthur R. Dodd and Miss Nora Puffer were married by Rev. Leamon of the M. E. church of Calmar.
The brides are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Puffer and sisters of Mrs. Jos. Shema of Decorah. Both are admirable young ladies and bear a large circle of friends among their acquaintances. Mr. Curtis was formerly a professor at Decorah Institute. Mr. Dodd is editor of the Strawberry Point Mail-Press and was formerly the partner of C. V. Summers in the Fort Atkinson Times. The REPUBLICAN joins in hearty congratulations to all of these young people.
