A Quiet Wedding.
The following notice was clipped from the Odessa, Minn., Tribune, of last Saturday. It tells of the marriage of Rev. M. L. Hill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hill of this city:—
A quiet wedding took place Wednesday, June 10, at the home of Rev. T. Haehlen, pastor In charge of the United Evangelical Church of this place, when Rev. M. L. Hill, pastor of the first M. E. church of Ruthton, Minn., was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Miss Rose Margaret Haehlen of Minneapolis, Rev. T. Haehlen, brother of the bride, and Rev. D. C. Hauk of Big Stone City, officiating.
Miss Lena Berga of Minneapolis was lady of honor and Rev. J. A. Haehlen of this place was best man. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present.
Rev. Hill is a most active, energetic and intelligent minister of the Gospel and is beloved by all with whom he comes in contact. He is a minister in good standing of the Methodist Episcopal church. The bride is well and favorably known in this village and vicinity. She was the only surviving unmarried daughter of Mrs. Margaret Haehlen and a wide awake, intelligent young lady. We predict a very pleasant journey through life together for the happy couple.
