A Washington Prairie Wedding.
On Wednesday, Juno 10, occurred the marriage of Miss Beatta Ode, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Qde, to Mr. Olaf Hegg, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hegg, both of Washington Prairie. The ceremony took place at the Washington Prairie church, Rev. V. Koren officiating. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents after the service, at which there were about two hundred guests in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Hegg will remain at Washington Prairie until after the Synod, after which they will depart for their home at Brookings, S. D. The best wishes and congratulations of a host of friends are extended to these young people for a happy and joyous wedded life. Both have grown up in Washington Prairie, are the son and daughter of well known and highly respected parents. Mr. Hegg is one of the numerous Winneshiek county young men who has gone to the Dakotas to make places for themselves in the world, and he is now a prosperous young farmer of Brookings. His wife is a young lady of many graces and no doubt will be a fruitful and loving helpmate for him through life.
