At seven o’clock hast, evening at the home of the bride’s parents, Rev M. Willett officiating, Henry L. Walter and Miss Wilhelmina C. Hegner, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hegner, were united in marriage. The announcement occasioned much surprise among the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Walter this morning. They have worked together in the city schools during the past year, but there was nothing in their relations that gave anyone reason to suspect that they intended taking the step that linked their lives together. That their future may be a happy one is the wish of all who enjoy their acquaintance. When Mr. and Mrs. Walters appeared at the high school this morning they found their desks decorated with flowers, shoes and rice, and then the scholars formed in line and extended their congratulations.
