The marriage yesterday afternoon at four o’clock of Mr. John L. Kittilsby and Miss Anna Siewers was an event that was foreshadowed some weeks ago by the announcement of their engagement. It was an occasion, too, for the heartiest of filicitations and good wishes from a large circle of friends, who feel that it is a union in which a most worthy and deserving couple are joined — two whose natures are well suited to form a happy wedded life. Both have spent the larger share of their lives in this county, Mr, Kittilsby as a resident of Calmar and Miss Siewers here in Decorah. Both have social and mental accomplishments that have won for them most kindly consideration and warm esteem. They departed Tuesday evening for Washington, D. C., where Mr. Kittilsbv fills a government position.
