At the home of Jas. Peck in Decorah, Wednesday, April 8, at 7:30 p, m., occured the marriage of Mr. Calvin Waters and Miss Edith Van Wey, both of Frankville, Rev. Willett tying the nuptial knot. On their return the next day the bride’s relatives gave them a reception at the home of the bride’s mother. The groom is one of our energetic young farmers, highly respected in the community, while the bride, the youngest daughter of Mrs. C. Van Wey is a quiet, unassuming young lady who will make a fitting helpmate for the man of her choice. Both Mr. and Mrs. Waters are active members in the church and Good Templars' lodge, and with their friends in these organizations many others unite in wishing them a long and happy life. The happy couple began house keeping at once on the farm with the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Waters, and start out on their matrimonial journey with bright prospects for a prosperous voyage.
