Monday was the 45th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Val. Stoskopf, so their son Philip thought he would have a surprise for them by inviting about 100 of their relatives, old friends and neighbors to come and spend the day with them. They came with well filled baskets of goodies to eat, and a nice present. The day was spent with eating, drinking, music, games and all kinds of amusements. It was well after sun-down when the guests departed for their homes, well satisfied with their day’s enjoyment, wishing Mr. and Mrs. Stoskopf the pleasure of living to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
