A Silver Wedding Surprise.
Friday, Oct. 29th, was the 25th anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. A. Noecker. To celebrate the event a large company of relatives and friends gathered at their home on Sunday, the 31st. Among them were: Charles Frank and family of Cresco, Barney Boyd and family of Cresco, Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Stoskopf of Burr Oak, Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Noecker of Decorah, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Brown of Burr Oak, Chas. Haberly and family of Decorah, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sellman of Decorah, Mrs. Casterton of Mabel, Minn., Mrs. A. Darrington of Hesper, Mrs. Adam Frank of Cresco, John Koppen of Decorah, Mr. and Mrs. John Young of Decorah, and G. A. Linne of Decorah. The occasion was a very pleasant one for all concerned. We join in the wish that Mr. and Mrs. Noecker celebrate many anniversaries as happily as they did their twenty-fifth.—Decorah Journal.
