Wedding at Fort Atkinson.
At Fort Atkinson last Tuesday Miss Mary Kopet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kopet, was united in marriage with George Kuhn. They were attended by Misses Ida Sheller and Emma Capouch, and Messrs. Anthony Houdek and John Kopet, brother of the bride. Miss Katie Kopet, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Mr. Frank Malek was groomsman. The bride looked lovely in a dress of dove colored silk trimmed with chiffon and a long veil fastened upon her head with bride roses and reaching to the bottom of the dress. The bridesmaids were charming in dresses of pale pink ann’s veiling trimmed with white lace, and wearing white carnations in their hair. The number of guests exceeded three hundred. A large bowery had been erected and music was furnished by the harp orchestra from Fort Atkinson. An elegant and bountiful dinner was partaken of at the home of the bride’s parents. The presents were costly and numerous. The groom is a prosperous farmer living near Spillville. He is a very worthy young man and justly merits the respect of his friends. The bride is a charming and lovely girl, and a general favorite. The best wishes of their many friends are extended to them.
