George Luther Reed made his advent into the family circle of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra G. Reed on the 11th of November, 1904. This being the first grandchild in either the Reed or Heckle families, he was hailed with as much delight as was the son in the "Royal, Russian Family," but the parties didn’t deem it advisable to make a national stir concerning the affair.
