Jones—Henry.
Chicago Record-Herald: A Greenville, Wis. editor a few days ago published the following enthusiastic account of a wedding in that town:
Miss Jennie Jones and Bob Henry were married at the Jones mansion last night. The bride is a daughter of our constable Jones who is a good officer and will undoubtedly be re-elected next spring, He offers a fine horse for sale in another column. The groom runs a grocery store on Main street and is a good patron of our ad columns and has a fine lot of bargains this week. All summer he paid two cents more for butter than any store in town. The happy couple left on the ten o’clock to visit the bride’s uncle in Milwaukee, who is reported to have lots of money and Bright’s disease. Rob certainly has an eye for business.
Bill Nye began his career as a humorist in Wisconsin and his work seems to be living after him up there.
