Wednesday the 31st was a general wedding day in our community. Miss Maude Rollins was married to Fred Donald by Rev. R. M. Ackerman a former pastor of the M. E. church, but now of South Dakota. The wedding was a pretty affair gotten up in the Rollins’ style, and attended only by the relatives of the bride and groom, of which there were a large number. The happy couple will reside in Mabel, where Mr. Donald is a prosperous hardware merchant. Many hearty good wishes from Burr Oak go out to them in their new home.
On the same day occurred the marriage of Charles Weldon to Miss Sadie Kinyon of Canoe, also Miss Welsh to Mr. Kelsie Clark .Three wed¬ings in one due in a little town like this!
