The Larsen-Ylvisaker Wedding.
Last Thursday afternoon, Miss Thora Ylvisaker and Rev. Nicolai M. Larsen wore united in marriage in the chapel at Luther Seminary, Hamline, by Rev Thomas Nilsson The maid of honor was Miss Inga Ylvisaker, sister of the bride, and Lauritz Larsen was groomsman. The ten bridesmaids were Miss Gudma Ylvisaker, sister of the bride, Misses Karen and Ingeborg Larsen, sisters of the groom, Misses Elizabeth Clausen and Nora Hjermstad of Redwing, cousins of the bride, Miss Lydia Jensen of Edgeton, Wis., Miss Ella Thorsen of Kasson, Miss Lilla Frich of St. Paul, Miss Thalia Thorsen of River Falls, Wis., and Miss Mabel Overby of Rice Lake, Wis. At six o’clock dinner was served in the dining room of the seminary to two hundred guests. Later in the evening personal friends of the newly-married couple gathered at the home of the bride, where they were entertained with music by Miss Signe Dahle, Miss Margaretha Peterson, Prof, John Dahle and a quartette composed of the bride's sisters. The bride is the oldest daughter of Prof. J. Ylvisaker, President of Luther Seminary, and is a graduate of the Lutheran Ladies’ Seminary at Redwing and a conservatory of music in the east. Rev. Larsen graduated from Luther College in 1896, from Luther Seminary in 1900 and is now stationed at Minot, N. D., where he will take his bride after a brief visit with his parental family in Decorah.
