A May Wedding.
Yesterday at the Big Canoe church, Rev K. Seehuus officiating, Dr. Henry Eugene Nelson of Highlandville and Ida Bertha Severson of Locust were united in marriage. The ceremony was followed by a large reception at the home of the bride’s parents. The groom is a gentleman whose home has been for the larger part of his life in Decorah. He is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Nelson, a young man of splendid education and sterling personal character He has recently graduated in medicine and established himself at Highlandville where we feel sure both his personal qualities and professional services will receive their just recognition. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. Severson, old and well known residents near Locust, She enjoy the friendship and esteem of a large circle of acquaintances who respect her as a worthy helpmeet for the husband of her choice. The REPUBLICAN joins the friends of Dr. and Mrs. Nelson in warmest congratulations.
