Last Thursday Mr. Burt Gates and Miss Alma Chase were united in marriage at the home of the bride, by Rev. L. L. Seager. The young couple are both highly respected young people of western Hesper and as your Burr Oak correspondent will likely give them a write-up, I'll merely wish them long life and much joy.

The marriage of Bert Gates to Miss Alma Chase was celebrated Thursday evening at the Chase home. The company were composed mostly of relatives, and they are not a few. They go to house keeping on what is called the Nutting farm. Congratulations.
