On Sunday David Welch, who for many years has lived just on the state line on the road to Mabel, passed the seventy-sixth milestone on life’s journey and in memory of the event all of his children, and I presume their families, spent the day with him. One of the daughters, Mrs. Fannie Babcock, came from Lisbon, N. D. The other children live in Hesper, Highland and Newberg township.
