The Herold-Reihle Nuptials.
At the Catholic church at Spillville, Rev. Broz officiating, on Tuesday, May 12th, occurred the marriage of Edward Herold, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Herold, and Miss Rose Reihl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Reihle, of Spillville. The bridal couple were attended by Will Reihle and Clara Herold, brother of the bride and sister of the groom respectively, and by Henry Herold and Helen Slebisca, brother of the groom and cousin of the bride respectively. The bride was gowned in white crepe de chine, with bridal veil held by wreath of natural flowers. The bridesmaids were gowned in cream brilliantine. The groom and his attendants were garbed in the conventional black.
Following the ceremony, a wedding party was given at the home of the bride’s parents in which about eighty families participated in feasting and merry-making and in dancing in a large bowery to music furnished by the Star Orchestra of Protivin.
The young couple will make their home on a farm owned by the groom’s father about one miles east of the old homestead.
The PLAIN DEALER joined with the many friends of the young couple in hearty congratulations and good wishes for their future health, prosperity and contentment. {There followed a very extensive list of gifts.}

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s maiden name is spelled two different ways.
