FINCH—TABER.
A charming wedding took place at the home of Mr. C. D. Taber of Mabel, Minn., Wednesday, Dec. 20, at high noon, when Miss Grace Taber and Mr. Clifford Finch were united in marriage. The bridal party entered the parlor to the strains of Mendessohn’s wedding march, Mrs. C. H. Hellickson presiding at the piano. The bride, daintily gowned in silk mull over white silk and carrying bride’s roses entered with the groom. The brief ceremony was pronounced by Rev. R. R. Tibbetts, after which the guests partook of a delicate dinner of several courses served at small tables. The home was beautifully decorated with roses, carnations, smilax, ferns and holly, the prevailing colors in the dining room being red and green, and in the parlors pink and white. The bridal party stood beneath a canopy of white draperies, with sprays of pink and white carnations and smilax. Many elegant and useful presents were received from their numerous friends. About forty guests were present and among them were Miss Finch of Grand Forks, N. D., Charles Williams of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Claude Kramer of Preston, Minn. In the evening a delightful reception was given to the friends of the bride; about sixty guests being present. Mr. and Mrs. Finch left for Detroit, Mich., Saturday morning, Dec. 23d, on a short wedding trip, after which they will make their home in Grand Forks, N. D. The best wishes of a large circle of friends of the bride will accompany the couple to their new home.
