Ringing the Wedding Bell.
Mr. Scammon of the Northwood Anchor came to Decorah, accompanied by his wife, to attend the wedding last Thursday. Previous to coming he wrote of the parties most interested in the following appreciative vein:
The wedding of Mr. Hugh Scammon and Miss Addie Jean Marsh will occur this evening at the home of the bride’s parents, Postmaster and Mrs. Marsh, Decorah. It is an event in which we are too profoundly interested to make much mention now. The young man we have known quite intimately for many years, and have always found him square and manly. He has been loyal to his friends, his parents and his home and we assuredly believe he will continue to exercise those desirable traits. The bride to be is as charming, sweet and loveable a young lady as we know. We can only wish that the future of the young people may be as filled with happiness as they now anticipate.
