Yesterday afternoon at, four o’clock at the home of the bride on River street, Miss Elizabeth Painter and Mr. Chris. Knoke were united in marriage by Rev. Wn. McVettie. The bride is a granddaughter of Wm. Painter, who was second only to the Day family as a resident of Decorah, and the groom is the youngest son of Mr. Henry Knoke, of the fifth ward, another of the early settlers of the county. Congratulations and good wishes are in order for Mr. and Mrs. Knoke.
