A. D. Galusha, whom many of his friends considered a lazy butterfly that would never settle down upon any particular flower, sprung a surprise in Decorah society circles last Thursday, when it became known that he had submitted to the pranks of Cupid and was united in marriage, by Rev. M. Willett, of the Congregational church, at 10:30 on that morning to Miss Grace A. Aiken, daughter of Mrs. S. Aiken, of Spring street, West Decorah. Not even the most intimate friends of the couple knew of the happy event until they had repaired to the Milwaukee depot and took the 11:25 passenger for St Paul, where they are spending their honeymoon.
The groom is one of the well known and popular railway mail clerks running between Decorah and St Paul on the O. M. & St. P. Ry. The bride is one of Deborah’s popular and highly esteemed young ladies and an accomplished musician, and has a large circle of friends here, whose best wishes are extended.
Mr. and Mrs. Gtlusha{sic} will reside in Decorah.—Decorah Journal.
