SOLTOW-NELSON—At the home of the bride’s mother near Kendallville, Iowa, March 7, 1900, by the Rev. C. A. Marshall, Mr. Adolph Soltow and Miss Cora Nelson, both of Winneshiek county.

The Soltow-Nelson morning wedding was a charming affair. The ceremony by Rev. C. A. Marshall was couched in language that made it the most beautiful marriage service that we ever witnessed. Miss Eva Thayer played the wedding march. The bride wore a handsome gown of Covert cloth of a rich castor shade, embellished opalescent pink pean-de-soil and dainty rose leaf applique. The groom wore the conventional suit of black. The wedding breakfast was a triumph of the culinary art to w{portion missing} the guests (near friends of the contracting parties) did ampl{portion missing} The presents were expensive,{portion missing}ful and useful. The event took place on March 7th, 1900, the 24th anniversary of the Marriage of the bride’s mother at her home near Kendallville, where the young couple will reside.
