Iowa Plain Dealer October 7, 1898, FP, C6

Double Wedding
A double wedding took place at eight o’clock yesterday morning at the Plymouth Rock Catholic church when Mr. Henry Ruddy, of Plymouth Rock, and Miss Rose McAndrews, of this city and Mr. Wm. McGee and Miss Agnes Ruddy, of Plymouth Rock, were united in marriage, Rev. Fr. Cooney officiating. After the ceremony an elaborate wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Ruddy, parents of two of the contracting parties. The newly married couples left yesterday afternoon for a honeymoon trip to the Omaha Exposition. Miss Rose McAndrews has grown to womanhood in Decorah and enjoys the esteem of a large acquaintance for her womanly grace and virtue, and the others have lived in Plymouth Rock since childhood, and are young people of estimable character. A large number of friends all over the county join with us in extending congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Ruddy will make their home in Cresco, and Mr. and Mrs. McGee in Fremont township.— Decorah Public Opinion.
