Iowa Plain Dealer May 10, 1895, FP C5
Mr. W. H. Tillson and Miss Allie Burdick were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents in Decorah, Wednesday, May the 8, 1895, and took the 9 o'clock train for Chicago. The bridal pair stood beneath an immense horse shoe beautifully trimed{sp} with a sea of apple blossoms. The guests though numerous were confined to the immediate relatives of the two families.
This worthy couple were fittingly remembered in the way of wedding gifts. We are not advised as to their future home. Mr. Tillson is a recent graduate of the law department of the Iowa State University, where he passed with credit; he is of steady habits and persevering in the pursuit of knowledge and will win success. The PLAIN DEALER joins their hosts of friends in bidding them God speed in all that their hearts desire.
