Stacene Renee is the name chosen by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Maroushek for their daughter, born April 22, 1964, at Smith Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 and 1/2 ounces. She was baptized May 17, at Decorah Lutheran Church by Pastor Bruno Schlachtenhaufen.

Sponsors were Barbara and Larry Teslow of Decorah.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lester H. Teslow of Decorah. Joseph Soukup of Cresco is her great grandfather. Her great-great Grandmother is Mrs. Rose Soukup of Spillville.

Pastor and Mrs. Schlachtenhaufen, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Teslow, Barbara and Dean, and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Teslow and Larry were dinner guest at the Maroushek home following the baptism. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Foet were callers in the afternoon.
