Sunday being the eighty-sixth birthday of James Headington, better known as “Uncle Jimmie,” his relatives all gathered as is their custom on such occasions at his home four miles north of town and celebrated the event. There were fifty-four children, grandchildren and great grandchildren present, and such a merry time they did have. They filled themselves chock full of the dainties that had been prepared by the women folks, and then sat down and had a picture taken by Photographer Reynolds. May our good friend “Uncle Jimmie” live to enjoy many more such gatherings is our earnest wish.
