Anderson, Rudolph M., arctic explorer; b. Decorah, Ia, June 30, 1876; s/o John E.A.; educated at the University of Iowa, 1906; captain Iowa track team, University record for hurdles, a charger member of Iowa Beta, 1905; delegate to province Zeta convention, 1905; veteran Spanish-American war, corporal 52nd Iowa Vol. Inf.; joint leader for the Stefansson-Anderson Arctic expedition which has been in the far north for the last four years for the American Museum of Natural History making ethnological collections and explorations. Address, care American Museum of Natural History, New York City.
