PIONEER DAYS-HESPER TOWNSHIP 1851-1941

Eziekel Webb, a retired farmer, came from Michigan and settled in the village. He bought a lot across from the Wilson Hotel and built a home, now occupied by Edgar Smith. His son, Nathan Webb, conducted a mercantile business in the Jones building. They sold their home and returned to Michigan.
