Isaacs, and Miss Florence Wilson and Miss Bernice Wilson at the piano furnished special singing. A large crowd was present at the obsequies.

Friends from out of town were: Mrs. and Mrs. Charlie Huffman, of Coultier, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bryan, of Dows, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Huffman of Williams, Dr. and Mrs. J. F. Russ, of Blue Earth, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. ,Badker, of Mason City, Mrs. and Mrs. A. B. Russ, of Buffalo Center, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Badker, of Swaledale, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Pollock, of Garner, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Gilbert, of Algona, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom McGrady, of Livermore.

Irene Helen (Ostrander) Huffman was born at Buffalo Center on August 23, 1899, and passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant W. Ostrander of King township on Sunday evening, June 24, 1928, at 11:00 p.m. She was 28 years 10 months and one day old. When but a small child, she moved with her parents to a farm in the vicinity of Thompson, in which locality she grew to womanhood and spent her life. She attended public school in Thompson and actively interested herself in the doing of the schools.

Through the years, she was closely connected with the Methodist Episcopal church and Sunday school of which she was a member.

On February 5, 1919, Irene was united in marriage to Gerald W. Wilson. To this union was born one child, Warren Harding Wilson, now eight years old who is making his home with his maternal grandparents. Gerald Wilson's life came to an untimely end on November 1, 1923, when he was fatally injured in a run-away accident.

Following the death of her first husband, Irene returned to the home of her parents where she resided until September 28, 1925, when she was joined in matrimony to Mr. Wm. Huffman of Thompson.

Mrs. Huffman has been in failing health for almost a year, though her relatives and friends did not realize until lately, that she so soon was to leave them. When she realized the end was near she confidently affirmed her faith in Jesus Christ and her willingness to depart and be with Him.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Wm. Huffman, of Thompson, her son, Warren Harding Wilson; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Ostrander; two sisters and three brothers: Mabel (Mrs. F. E. Bullard), of Rineard, Illinois, Ruth (Mrs. Ruth Granzow), of St. Ansgar, Iowa, Clarence, of Britt, Earl, of Buffalo Center, and Robert, who resides with his parents, besides many other friends who will greatly miss her going.

She is at rest. The pains and tribulations of life for her are over. She has taken the journey from whose bourne no traveler returns. Let us also prepare ourselves, for we know not at what hour the summons may come to us.
