Maxine L. Pint, 89, of Forest City, died on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.

Maxine, the daughter of Ray and Cora (Anderson) Munsell, was born on February 3, 1924, in Riceville, Iowa. After graduating from Kensett High School in 1941 at age 17, she moved to Grafton, Iowa, where she worked at Walk's Store.

While living in Grafton, she met her late husband Hugo Boeset. They married on October 7, 1945, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Maxine, then, helped Hugo raise his two children. In time, they, also, had four children of their own. A few years after Hugo passed away, Maxine and her youngest daughter, Angie, moved to Osage where Maxine began work at the Fashion Corner. While living in Osage, she met Norbert Pint. After marrying on June 25, 1977, they resided in Forest City. In the years that followed, Maxine worked at Johnson Drug and later as a receptionist and switchboard operator at Waldorf College.

Maxine enjoyed baking, decorating, tending her flower garden, collecting antiques, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City.

She is survived by her husband, Norbert Pint, of Forest City; her children: Hugh (Jan) Boeset, of Naperville, Illinois, Kathy (Stan) Miller, of Dallas, Texas, and Angie (Deron) Steiner, of Montgomery, Indiana; her step daughter, Phyllis Norby, of Osage; her brother, Virgil (Ruby) Munsell, of Rockford; and her sisters: Arlene (Ron) Johnson, of San Mateo, California, and Lorraine Milloy, of Rockford; as well as by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hugo Boeset; her daughter, Barbara Kirchgatter; her step-son, Don Boeset; and her sister, Fern Wahl.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, January 31, 2014, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City with Rev. Greg Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M., Thursday, January 39, 2014, at the Petersen Lund Funeral Home, 505 North Clark St, Forest City, Iowa.
Burial will be held in Grafton at the Emmanuel Cemetery.
