Antonette Hylland
September 8, 1860 - February 11, 1937Mrs. Antonette Stockseth Hylland was born September 8, 1860, in Vang, Hedemark, Norway, the second child of Ole and Maria Stockseth.
She emigrated to American with her parents and two brothers in 1868. Their first two years residence was in Wisconsin. From there they moved to Minnesota, and later to Winnebago county, Iowa, where she has since resided.
On December 17, 1877, she was united in marriage to Andrew Hylland of Winnebago County. To this union 11 children were born, five of whom are living. Her husband, six children and two brothers preceded her in death.
Those surviving are Caroline (Mrs. P. A. Anderson), of Loretta, Wisconsin, Ole, Nels, and Albert, of Leland, and Annette (Mrs. Gilmer Anderson), of Scarville; also one brother, H. O. Stockseth, of Belmond; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hylland, trusting in the merits of her Savior, passed peacefully away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gilmer Anderson, Thursday morning, February 11, 1937, at 10:30, of heart trouble.
A loving mother and kind neighbor, she died in the faith of her Savior. Blessed be her memory.
