Phyllis Yvette Stinehart, 62, of Lake Mills, Iowa, died Saturday, September 29, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Phyllis Yvette Stinehart was born on December 24, 1949, at Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Norma R. (Horswell) and Charles E. Pratt.

Phyllis married Robert Feldmann, Sr., on September 11, 1967 in Bancroft, Iowa. He passed away in March of 1973.

Phyllis, then, married Daniel J. Stinehart on May 17, 1980, in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Phyllis loved her family. She loved serving others and looked forward to her many mission trips to LaVina (Vineyard Church) in Mazatlan, Mexico. She always found good in all people. She was known for constantly cracking jokes and “picking on the guys”. Famous for her Monster Cookies, she happily passed her recipe on to her grandchildren. She took great pride in her thirty plus years of sobriety and, most recently, in having joined the “medical community” after earning a certificate in Billing and Medical Coding. She had worked at Fleetguard/ Cummins Filtration for twenty-six years.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Dan, of Lake Mills, Iowa; her children, Michelle DaVeiga, of Lake Mills, Iowa, Robert Feldmann, Jr. (Teresa), of Williamsburg, Iowa, and Travis Stinehart (Jodie), of Lake Mills, Iowa; her stepchildren, Wayne, Julie, and Michael Stinehart (Agnes), all of Albert Lea, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Jaimyan, Jonathyn, Justin, Jessica, Jordan, Sarah, Christina, Robert, Anthony, Abby, Kimberly, Gracelynn, Kenny, Marisa, Makayla, Summeer, Dominic, and Jeannie; her siblings, Jackie (Jim) McGrady, of Thompson, Iowa, Marilyn (Charlie) Leissler, of Cherokee, Iowa, Steven (Robyn) Horswell, of Milford, Iowa, and Sharon (Joe) Piseski, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and a step-sister, Karla (Jerry) Baker, of Dewey, Arizona; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert, and her parents.
