Blanche N. Wahl, age 81, of Rochester, Minnesota died Monday, September 17, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester. She was born Blanche N. Coltvet on June 5, 1920 at Thompson, Iowa. She married Rev. Walter E.N. Wahl on June 4, 1949 in Forest City, Iowa. He does survive, in addition to 5 sons & 1 daughter; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; and 2 sisters. Blanche & Rev. Walter served in First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights. She also worked at the Evangelical Lutheran Church Headquarters in Mpls. They have resided in Rochester since December of 2000. Funeral service 2:00 PM Thurs. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
