Funeral services for Mrs. Leva Drugg of Forest City were conducted Monday morning at the United Methodist church. The Rev. Larry Vallery, pastor of Britt United Methodist church, officiated.
Mrs. Franklin Bienert was organist. Casket bearers were David Drugg, Terry Drugg, Robert Drugg, Dewey Galloway, Ronald Knudtson and Jerry Levad. Burial was in Oakland cemetery with the Peterson Funeral home handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Drugg, 91 died Thursday at the Lake Mills Nursing home. She had been a resident of the home nine years.
Leva Drugg, the daughter of Ole and Johanna Christopherson Rusley, was born June 22, 1890, on a farm in Mt. Valley township. She was baptized and confirmed at Winnebago Lutheran church in rural Lake Mills and attended the township school.
May 28, 1911, she married Albert Drugg. The couple farmed in Mt. Valley township until retiring and moving to Forest City in 1948. Mr. Drugg died Jan. 22, 1958.
For many years, Mrs. Drugg was a member of the United Methodist church and active in the ladies circle.
Survivors include four children, Mrs. Ernest (Avis) Knudtson of Lake Mills, Mrs. Gene (Janice) Bartley of Colorado Springs, Colo., Leslie and Roger Drugg of Forest City; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lucille Drugg of Forest City; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grand children; and on great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Floyd who died April 11, 1975, four brothers, Ole, Sever, John and Christ Rusley, and two sisters, Emma Nelson and Tilda Felland.
