Jane M. Buffington, 81, of St. Charles, Missouri, formerly of Forest City, Iowa, died on Thursday, July 2, 2015.

Jane was born on July 28, 1933, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. After attending and graduating from Forest City schools, she enrolled at Waldorf College.

Loving wife of Marlyn Buffington; beloved daughter of the late Ole and Vera Nerem; devoted mother of Kim (Wayne) McClain, Cindy (Jeffrey) Pedrotty, Dan (Eva) Buffington, and Kelly (Norman) Hale; cherished grandmother of Shanna (Pat), Erika, Kara (Pat), Brian, Samm, Kathryn, Thomas, Shelby (Grant), Mackenzie, Abbey, and Courtney; and treasured great-grandmother of seven, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dean and Keith Nerem.
