William Grant Ostrander

William Grant Ostrander was born October 21, 1868, at Troupsburg, Steuben, New York to Peter A. Ostrander and Amanda Van Duyne.

Believe he moved to Iowa in 1885 with his parents.

W. G. Grant married Ida Marie Badker on December 10, 1890, at Rockwell, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.

The couple had 7 children:

William Grant Ostrander died on August 31, 1959, at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa, and was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Thompson, Winnebago, Iowa.

William Grant Ostrander was born on October 21, 1868, in Troupsburg, New York, and died August 1959 at Mason City, Iowa. He was the son of Peter and Amanda (Van Duyne) Ostrander. He moved to Iowa in 1885. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Odd Fellows and Masonic Lodges in Thompson. He married Ida Marie Badker in 1890. They had four sons: Clarence, Earl and Robert survive him and Victor preceded him in death. There were three daughters: Ruth Granzow, who survives him and Mabel Bullard and Irene Huffman who preceded him in death.
