Chadwick "Chad" Shae Henn
(March 11, 1975 - July 10, 2014)

Chadwick “Chad” Henn, age 39, of Mason City, died on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at his home in Mason City.

Chadwick Shea Henn was born on March 11, 1975, in Denver, Colorado, to Roger and Cindy (Radcliffe) Henn. A few months afterwards, his family moved to North Iowa and resided in Duncan and Garner, Iowa.

Baptized at the United Church of Christ in Belmond, Iowa, Chad attended and graduated from Garner High School in 1994. Then, he enlisted with the Iowa National Guard and completed basic training.

Over the years, Chad worked at various concerns including IMT in Garner, Winnebago Industries in Forest City, and NIVC Affordables in Mason City. An introvert because of his illness, he was able to excel with computers and electronics as a hobby. He adored all of his nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them when he could.

Survivors include his mom, Cindy (Doug Langfald) Henn, of Forest City, Iowa, and his dad, Roger (Jan Fass) Henn, of Arkansas; his siblings, Brad (Heather) Henn, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, Tyler (April) Henn, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, Damaion (Sara) Henn, of Forest City, Iowa, Alex (Heidi) Langfald, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, Tony Langfald, of Lake Mills, Iowa, Andy Langfald, of Lake Mills, Iowa, Erica Klukow, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, and Erin Larsen, of Scarville, Iowa; as well as fifteen nieces and nephews, Ariel, Megan, Clayton, Ethan, Xander, Delayna, Aurora, Myles, Addie, Hayden, Kyla, Ellie, Brody, Aden, and Theo.

Chad is also survived by several aunts and uncles, Steven (Carol) Radcliffe, of Wichita, Kansas, Mindy (Jim) Vlaanderen, of Sioux City, Iowa, Nancy Gardner, of Pueblo, Colorado, Veloce (Chuck) Pomernackas, of Treynor, Iowa, and Lynn (Cindy) Henn, of Gilbert, Iowa; as well as by extended relatives through the Henn, Radcliffe, and Langfald families.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chuck and Imogene Radcliffe and Harley and Frances Henn.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 East Main Street, Lake Mills, Iowa, with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Visitation with Chad’s family will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home in Lake Mills.
