(December 22, 1918 - January 14, 2014)Selma Elaine Lee, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at the Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer, Wisconsin.
Selma Elaine (Olson) Lee was born on December 22, 1918, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, to Ole S. and Anna (Huus) Olson.
On May 12, 1940, Selma married Roy Lee in Holmes, Iowa. A kind and caring woman, she loved helping others. She enjoyed music, small group Bible studies, and time spent with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
Selma is survived by one son, Nathan (Peggy) Lee, of Fresno, California; her daughters, Merline (Norman) Rufledt, of Sand Creek, Wisconsin, Eunice Gross, of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jane Lee, of St. Paul, Minnesota, Sharon (Skip) Lien, of Clovis, California, Ruth (Dan) Ostergaard, of Olathe, Kansas, and Lois Lee, of Vancouver, Washington; her brothers, Arnold Olson, of Clarion, Iowa, Stanley Olson, of Mason City, Iowa, and Luther (Bev) Olson, of Webster City, Iowa; a sister, Signora (Ken) Stolhammer, of Hibbing, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ole and Anna Olson; her husband, Roy; seven brothers, Merle, Joseph, Paul, Orville, Donald, Philip, and Stanley, in infancy; and two sisters, Arlene and Jeanette.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 20, 2014, at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, rural Joice, Iowa, with Pastor Kevin Olson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, Monday, at the Church. Burial will be in West Cemetery, Rake, Iowa.
