Orletta T. Wagner, age 95, of the Lake Mills area, died Sunday, February 10, 2008, at Heritage Care Center in Mason City, Iowa.

Orletta Teleda (Olson) Wagner was born on April 30, 1912, in rural Leland, Iowa, to Clarence and Gena (Langfald) Olson. She was baptized by Rev. Lee at North Prairie Lutheran Church and confirmed by Rev. Peterson at Center Lutheran Church in 1927.

On June 8, 1932, Orletta married Leslie Wagner. The couple, subsequently, had three children. In 1982, they celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Orletta spent her time taking care of her home and family, and in later years, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy Miller, and her husband, Howard, of Twin Lakes, Minnesota, DuWayne Wagner, and his wife, Delila, of Casper, Wyoming, and Judy Cobb, and her husband, David, of Fertile, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Brian and Shawn Wagner, Donna Asche, Don and David Cobb, Jr., Larry and Bruce Miller, and Lori Obregon; sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two brothers, LaVerne Olson, and his wife, Clarice, of Clarks Grove, Minnesota, and Marlin Olson, and his wife, Ruth, of Leland, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie, in 1983; a brother, Charles Olson, in 1967; and a great-great grandson, Conner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 15, 2008, at Center Evangelical Lutheran Church in rural Lake Mills with Rev. Thomas Rank officiating. Burial will be in Center Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the Center Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 19266 440th Street, Leland, Iowa 50453 or to the donor’s choice.
