Forest City, IA - Mr. and Mrs. Obed Skogerboe of Forest City have been informed of the death of their son, Army Lt. Dennis Michael Skogerboe, 25, in Vietnam.

The Defense Department said Lieutenant Skogerboe was killed Aug. 24 while moving a platoon of the 25th Infantry Division to cover at Chi Chi.

Lieutenant Skogerboe was a graduate of Forest City High School and of Black Hills (S.D.) State College. His survovors include his wife Nancy.
