Funeral services for Dawn Lynn Lunning, 3, were held Wednesday afternoon, March 17, 1976, at 1:30 P.M. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Thompson with Rev. Walter Olson officiating. The little girl died Monday morning, March 15, at the hospital at Algona. Death was caused by a virus infection. She had been in ill helath since birth, July 15, 1972.
Pallbears were Tim Berhow, Lynn Hagenson, Greg Olson and Craig Hartman. Shane Hill, Dawn's only cousin, was an honorary pallbearer. Winter Funeral Service of Buffalo Center was in charge of arrangements and interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
Dawn is survived by her mother, Mrs. Gescha Lunning of Forest City, her grandparents and her great-grandmother, Mrs. Clarence Olson of Buttalo Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Lunning.
