October 19, 1890 - January 9, 1963

Funeral services for Ole Osland, 72, were held Saturday, January 12, 1963 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Rake. Pastor M.W. Tolo officiated. The American Legion Post 539 were in charge of the military rites. Mr. Osland died on Wednesday, January 9, after suffering a heart attack while driving his car.

Ole Osland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Osmund Osland was born in Skiftun Stavanger, Norway, October 19, 1890, and passed away Jan. 9, 1963, from a heart attack. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Rake. He served his country in World War I.

His parents, three sisters and three brothers preceeded him in death. He leaves to mourn his departure two sisters, Clara and Mabel of Buffalo Center and one brother, John, also of Buffalo Center; five nephews, three nieces and other relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Osland, Mr. and Mrs. Olin Osland, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Appelby, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Dwyer, Mr. and Mrs. Arland Johnson and Leo Osland of Omaha, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Bertel Osland of Grand Island, Nebr., came to attend the funeral of their uncle, Ole Osland Saturday.
