Rites at Lake Mills for Former Resident

Lake Mills - Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie Greeley Witham, 58, were held at the Methodist church Monday at 1:30 p.m. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Russell Shaeffer, at Kintyre, S. Dak. Thursday following a heart attack. She was born in Mayville, Wis., in April, 1890, and was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Greeley of Winnebago county, living at Plymouth for a short time before moving with her parents to Lake Mills. She was married to Robert [sic] Witham in 1915. He preceded her in death. Besides her daughter she leaves a son, Robert, of Lake Mills, who flew to her bedside in a chartered plane, arriving before she died.
