Rake Woman Dies in Hospital; Funeral Will Be Held Saturday

RAKE, IOWA - Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie T. Johnson, 49, who died Tuesday at a hospital in Buffalo Center, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. R.L. Holleque officiating.

Mrs. Johnson was admitted to the hospital 10 days before her death to receive treatment for pneumonia and after effects of the flu. Death was due to a heart attack.

She is survived by her husband and four daughters, Mrs. William Allredd of Texas, Mrs. Ivold Jonson of Buffalo Center, Mrs. Maynard Jacobson of Rake and Joan at home. Also surviving are her aged mother, Mrs. Anna Matson of Bricelyn, two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Rake of Rake, and Mrs. Leo Williams of Mankato, 2 brothers, Nordahl Matson of Rake and Oscar Matson of Bricelyn, Minn., and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson has been a resident of this community all her life except for a few years when--they lived in the Dakotas.
