George Fowler was born ca 1810-1815 in New York. He lived in Grudy Co., IL in 1859 where he married Eunice "Strivens?" Chandler. Children Almenia, George Jr., Alice, William, and Jennette are born here prior to 1870. George and family relocated to Newton Co., IN by 1870 where sons Delbert and Andrew are born.

The Fowler family travel quite a bit. In 1880 they are living in Republic Co., KS. In 1883 the family is in Ross Co., Ohio where Eunice died of Consuption and children George, Alice, and Jennette get marry.

In Jan 1893, son Delbert married Sarah Bragg in LaSalles Co., IL and moved to Forest City, Winnebag Co., IA along with George.

George died in Forest City on the 12th of April, 1895. He is believed to be buried in Lot 5 of Oakwood Cemetery.
