Jones, William H. Enlisted from Lane September 3d, 1861. Veteran. Wounded in the left thigh October 13th, 1864, at Darbytown Cross-Roads, Va. After leaving the service Jones pursued a course of medical study, attending lectures at Rush Medical College in Chicago, session 1867-68, and graduated at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Keokuk, Iowa, in 1874. He resides at Forest City, Iowa.
