Mr. Michael Alan Carlson, also known as the "Jesus Loves You" man, age 59 of Toccoa, GA. passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at his home.
Born May 21, 1953 in Fort Dodge, IA, he was a son of the late Jack Eugene and Karlene Ann Stokes Carlson and a veteran of The United States Army.
Family members include his wife, Sharon Sexton Carlson; daughter, Roi Carlson; two brothers, Monte Carlson and Mitch Carlson; a niece, Michelle Carlson; and a nephew, Jack Carlson.
A memorial service will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the Eddy West Furniture Company, off the Clary Connector, Toccoa, GA 30577. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of North East Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
